Catch and Release Judges: Kentucky Judge Slashes Rapist’s Sentence in Half Because He’s Black and a “Victim of Society”

In one of the most brazen displays of racial justice yet, Jefferson County Circuit Judge Tracy E. Davis. a Black female judge, has cut the prison sentence of convicted kidnapper, robber, and rapist Christopher Thompson in half.
The jury recommended 65 years. Judge Davis, in her infinite wisdom, gave him 30 years.
Her reasoning?
Because Thompson is Black and, in her words, a “victim of society” who “fell through the cracks.”
You cannot make this up. This is the woke ideology at it's very core. If you identify as part of an "oppressed" group then nothing is every your fault.
Thompson was convicted of forcing a woman into her own car at gunpoint, robbing her, raping her, and then forcing her to drive to an ATM to empty her accounts before raping her again. During the trial and sentencing, he showed zero remorse. He told the victim, “I’ll see you in 20 years, b*tch,” and openly taunted the court, saying he had no sympathy for her or her family.
Judge Davis still decided the appropriate response was mercy because of his race.
In no reality would this be considered justice. This is racial revenge dressed up as compassion. This is exactly what happens when judges stop seeing individuals and start seeing skin color. A violent predator gets a massive break while his victim is forced to live with the trauma for the rest of her life.
And this isn’t Judge Davis’s first controversy. She has her own history, including a 2019 felony charge for making false statements to receive welfare benefits and a DUI arrest after swerving across lanes on the interstate.
Yet she remains on the bench, handing out leniency to violent criminals while lecturing society about “systemic racism.”
This case is the perfect embodiment of the Catch and Release Judges series: career criminals with long rap sheets are given every possible break, while the public is told to accept skyrocketing crime as the price of “equity.”
When judges explicitly cite race to reduce sentences for rape and kidnapping, we are no longer operating under the rule of law. We are operating under racial spoils and anti-White vengeance.
How many more women must be raped, robbed, and traumatized before Americans demand these judges be removed from the bench?
The system isn't broken. It is working exactly as the left designed it.
